At Soy Energy, Wolin provided turnkey procurement and installation services on an EPC (engineering, procurement, & installation) contract in conjunction with BIS Industrial Services and Soy Energy LLC.

The project was a retrofit installation to an existing biodiesel processing facility enabling it to operate off of refined soybean oil, crude soybean oil, and damaged corn stillage oil.  Additional processes added included degumming, acid esterification, bleaching and winterization. 

Wolin performed the entire mechanical package on this new regional 70,000 square foot industrial laundry facility, the largest in Iowa.

The scope of work included: all plumbing, piping and power piping, HVAC, steam, gas, waste water, and waste water purification.

This project is an excellent example of trade coordination within the Wolin company, and one we are quite proud of.

All mechanical and electrical portions were completed by Wolin, including HVAC, plumbing, lighting, fire alarm, power piping, welding, and complete construction of the boiler.

Our solid relationship with Pine Ridge Farms continues as we perform Preventative Maintenance at the facility.
