Super Target This was Wolin's 4th Target Store, and also the largest in Iowa. Wolin was awarded the complete plumbing and HVAC package of this project, and it was completed Spring 2004.

The Dana Company November 1999 through October 2000 This Design Build 3-story office building was completed by Wolin Electric, with a tenant finish on one floor. Work included interior and exterior lighting and a fire alarm system. |

The Home Depot Wolin completed the Electrical portion of this familiar retail business. Exterior and interior lighting along with rack lighting, and back-up generator were installed.

Gillotti Companies
Corporate Headquarters Complete Mechanical Design Build services for this 40,000 square foot office facility. HVAC system incorporates a Variable Air Volume (VAV) system with Direct Digital Controls. After a review of numerous systems (Water Source Heat Pumps with Geothermal Wells, and VAV with HW reheat), the owner chose to utilize a VAV system with Electric Re-Heat to take advantage of MidAmerican Energy's All Electric Rates, which allow for a 50% reduction in cost per kW 8 months a year. Initial System installed costs were determined as the driving factor for system selection, and utility costs as the secondary issue. The project was
completed in 8 months. |

Savings Bank June 2002-February 2003 Complete Mechanical and Electrical Design Build for this 5,300 square foot facility. Work included HVAC, plumbing, fire sprinkler system, interior and exterior lighting, and fire alarm system. |

Katecho, Inc. July 2002 through May 2003 Wolin completed the Electrical portion of this project. Scope of work included complete interior and exterior lighting, fire alarm and security systems. As of Fall 2004, Wolin was awarded the Mechanical and Electrial portion of the addition to this building. Construction will begin shortly after the first of the year. |

McLeodUSA Corporate
Headquarters January 2000 through January 2001 Electrical Design Build of a 70,000 square foot office facility along with a 30,000 square foot operations center. This project was completed ahead of schedule and under budget. |

Sticks, Inc. Completed in 9 months, Mechanical and Electrical Design Build for this custom furniture and artwork facility. 5,000 square feet of office space, 4,000 square feet of gallery space, and 10,000 square feet of studio space. This is easily one of our favorite projects. Jim Leuders and Sarah Grant-Hutchinson, founders of Sticks Inc., had hands on involvement from initial design to finished product. Working closely with the owners allowed the Wolin Team to meet and exceed design and delivery expectations. Our involvement in the programming process led to substantial savings in the initial cost of the building's Mechanical and Electrical systems, as well as identifying long-term costs. Specific needs were met for smoke control, lighting for precision vision control, and coordinating production flow with the owner were key design challenges. |

Valley Bank Wolin was awarded the Mechanical Design Build on this 15,000 square foot banking facility with second floor office space. HVAC included a rooftop unit with VAV heat and DDC controls. This project was completed in approximately 6 months. Wolin was also selected to perform the same scope of work at Valley Bank's Clive location. That job is currently in progress. |
